Sand Washers

Working principle The sand washer consists of a wide decantation tank in which a tangential outlet dewatering wheel with perforated buckets and a screw for rotation. The muddy water let in near the wheel, allows the sand to filter and goes out on the opposite side. A special spill ways system permits a slow and calm discharge of the muddy water, making the decantation of the extra fine materials easy.
Specially constructed motor and gear box guarantee very low maintenance cost and long life.
